Healing Sun Light

Sunlight is one of nature's most healing agents. It is the most effective germ killer known and has no side effects. Sunlight provides nourishment and energy for all living things.  The sun gives us vitamin D which is an essential vitamin.  Vitamin D prevents the excretion of calcium and phosphorus from the intestine and assists in the absorption of calcium and phosphorus. Without Vitamin D, teeth & bones would become soft. The heart would be weak, wounds would be difficult to heal and metabolism would be abnormal.

Sunlight increases alertness, energy, enthusiasm, promotes a feeling of well being, decreases blood cholesterol, decreases blood sugar, kills germs, disinfects, and increases aerobic fitness.

The immune system, our health defender, benefits greatly from the sun. White blood cells, infection fighters, are increased when the body is in sunlight. When animals are sick they lie in the sunlight to help them overcome and regain strength. When you are ill sunlight will in like manner benefit us. As a preventive, getting daily doses of sunlight 20-30 minutes a day will help keep you well.
